Commodity Sourcing Leader |
| Responsibilities:: |
1) Identify, access & develop potential capable suppliers
2) Develop and negotiate contracts with current and potential suppliers to reduce costs, improve leadtimes, improve all areas of working capital
3) Validate supplier product cost structure
4) Work with project teams in sourcing & develop products, accessories and components with world class cost
5) Work with Suppliers and Quality Engineers in developing Product Quality Plan, In-process control plan, Capacity/Lead Time Plan & Ramp-up plan to ensure smooth bulk production and continuous Quality
6) Work with Suppliers and Supply Chain coordinators to ensure 98% & above service level
7) Manage & Own the Supplier Relationship; Keep up Suppliers’ scorecard
8) 40% & above travel required

| Requirement:: |
1) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Operations Management or related field. Advanced degree desired.
2) Two to four years of purchasing experience, including procurement and contract negotiation, in a high-volume manufacturing environment and/or consumer product industry.
4) Knowledge/Experience of general metals and metallurgical related manufacturing processes
5) Knowledge/Experience of Quality Engineering
6) Materials management experience highly desirable.
7) Global perspective and customer focused.
8) Considerable knowledge of sources of supply, markets, price and commodity trends
9) Good command of written and oral English.
10) Teamwork orientated, self-motivated & able to work independently
11) Proficient in the use of microcomputer systems and applications
